Cookie Policy
A cookie is a small file a site stores in your browser. This page lists the ones we set, what each is for, and how to refuse the ones that are optional.
This policy is published by Rebirthed LLC. Questions go to [email protected].
1. The categories we use
The banner you saw on your first visit offers three switches, plus a category that has no switch because the site cannot work without it.
Strictly necessary — always on
These do not track you and cannot be turned off, because without them the site cannot keep you signed in or tell a genuine request from a forged one.
| Cookie | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|
| Session cookie | Keeps you signed in across pages | Until you close the browser, or 2 hours idle |
| CSRF token | Proves a form submission came from you and not from another site | Session |
cookie_consent |
Remembers the choices you made on the banner, so we do not ask again | 12 months |
| Theme preference | Remembers whether you chose light or dark | Stored in your browser, not sent to us |
Functional — off unless you allow it
Remembers preferences that make the site more convenient but are not required: layout choices, dismissed notices, and similar. Refusing these means the site forgets those choices between visits.
Analytics — off unless you allow it
Tells us which pages are read, roughly where visitors come from, and where things break. We use this to decide what to build and fix. Refusing it does not change what you can see or do.
Advertising — off unless you allow it
Used to select and measure advertising, and may be set by advertising partners rather than by us. Refusing it does not remove advertising; it makes it less relevant and stops it being tailored to you.
2. Consent, and changing your mind
Nothing outside the strictly necessary category is set before you choose. If you dismiss the banner without choosing, the optional categories stay off.
You can change your choices at any time using the Cookie Settings link in the footer. Changes take effect immediately for cookies we set; cookies already placed by a third party may need clearing in your browser.
Your choice is recorded for 12 months, after which we ask again.
3. Third parties
Where you have consented to analytics or advertising, the providers concerned set their own cookies and act as controllers of what they collect. Their policies govern that data, and we cannot delete it on your behalf — you should use their own opt-out where you want it removed.
4. Blocking cookies in your browser
Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies. Blocking the strictly necessary ones will sign you out and prevent forms from submitting, so the site will not work. Blocking the rest is safe.
5. Similar technologies
We also use localStorage for the theme switch and for remembering that you
have dismissed a notice. It stays in your browser and is never sent to us. Some
requests are logged server-side with your IP address for security and abuse
handling — that is covered by the Privacy Policy rather than by this one.
